THROUGH THE 1980s
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The 1980s sent the team across the United States to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia to celebrate the Fourth of July. It was a pleasure to accept such special invitations.

Through the 1980s, tradition continued as the daughters of former drill team members joined the team. Members past and present, families and friends celebrated the 35th anniversary in 1987 in grand style.

Trophies and awards continued to fill the drill team room through the 1980s. Dazzled audiences cheered at local events and parades as well as at the Portland Rose Festival and the Omak Stampede. The unit marched at special events such as the Ruby Chow Park dedication in 1987.
